Nearly there!

Sunday run was good ..... thank you to all those who have had a word learning blitz! and hurry up & get on with it for the few who haven't!
Tickets still need a push!
Work is going on behind the scenes while rehearsals plough on, the flying & pyrotechnics are going to be spectacular .... more Bangs and flashes than firework night!
James is doing his magic with the lighting design & the stage crew are working out how to move the huge set on & off in 5 seconds ...and how to motorise a bath with Daryl & Fidel in it! .... It Can Be Done!
Monday (today)and Wednesday is more tidying up bits that need it .... including getting the men on for the Dance With Devil scene ....
Keep selling and don't forget to tell Vickie F when you are going down to the Churchill to hand out the leaflets .... it should be at least 2 each performance, but the more the merrier!
Learn & Sell, Learn & Sell, Learn & Sell.........

I am sure we were all blown away by the outstanding performances presented by our principals yesterday. Each and every one acted their socks off! Once again Kevin’s vision is coming to fruition but we all need to work together to pull off this extravaganza. I am humbled by the extraordinary effort that has gone into this production. Let’s not let Kevin and our principals down - put on a performance and spread the word! (And let's have fun with this!)

Wasn't it marvellous to see Kevin upstaged by three 3 years old.

Yes, I was expecting Kate to give us notes at the end of the rehearsal!

Who is taking the liberty of speaking on behalf of us all?
I am not humbled by the extraordinary effort that has gone into this production. EVERY production goes to extraordinary lengths and that's why we are the successful company that we are today. By the way it isn't just Kev and the principals who will be let down. It's all of us that will be let down, the whole of WWOS. There won't be a WWOS if we don't sell this extragavant and exciting production.

"speaking on behalf of us all" and the second "anonymous" are both on target BUT WHO AE YOU! When you've got something constructive (or otherwise) to say then don't be shy - reveal yourself.

Nobody asked if they could speak on my behalf. "Speaking on behalf of us all" must be a new member who doesn't realise that WWOS is a team who always pull together and never let the show down. They obviously don't realise the extraordinary effort that goes into every production. It's why we are the best.
Now sell those flaming tickets and prove me right.

I just wanted to say that since i've been watching the rehearsals from the front i've seen the show grow from strength to strength and you have probably seen me watching in adoration of YOU ALL! It is a fantastic production (and this is coming from someone very critical) but i think EVERYONE should be very proud of themselves because everyone has put in so much work from every angle of this production.
Whilst the principle moments are fantastic my favourite parts of the show are the chorus numbers. I think your all great and i can't wait to see you on the big stage! I hope my lighting can match up to you all!

I agree with you all.

I'm fed up of nagging and complaining at rehearsals. This is a great company to work for and with. Deep down, secretly inside, unknown to anyone, I know that words and harmonies will be learnt; I do think the chorus numbers (often the best numbers in many shows - big sound, big look, best music, best band parts) will fill the Churchill and that, despite how many tickets are eventually sold, the show will be a huge success for WWOS. At the moment that knoweldge isn't stopping the dreams and troubled sleep (that's more down to the wine I'm necking after rehearsals). On that matter, if anyone has any suggestions for me on how to speed up the learning of songs please do say so. In hindsight the backing tracks would have been done sooner.

My apologies if I've offended anyone with my comments in rehearsal; Sometimes I find it difficult not to bring my work home with me.

Having read above exchanges with amusement, I think there are a few high horses here. I really don’t think the first person was suggesting that we don’t all put in an effort … but I know I still have a lot of work to do to match the efforts of those who have put in the work. We are all hard-working (qed those who contribute to this blog) but some more hard-working than others.
