It's The Hard Knock Life!

A long rehearsal for some of us last night …. But we got the new number set, and managed to go over last weeks setting as a reminder. Please learn the words to at least the songs we have set! …. NYC next week!
Another basic practise is the giving of apologies if you are going to be away … there were 5 people not there last night without any notice (and 2 had given apologies / excuses!) If you know you are going to be away PLEASE email Graham (link on Rehearsal Schedule page of Web site) with dates … we have to know who is there and who is not.
And Finally … Please Start To Sell Tickets NOW …. We have to get public awareness NOW that Annie is on at The Churchill … wherever you go (Doctors/Dentist surgery, Libraries, Waiting rooms, Other theatres, Offices etc….. ) take a pile of handbills and leave them there … Start putting posters up EVERYWHERE (They will be available from next week)If you know of any newsletters going out, see if you can slip them with an Annie handbill … We Have To Publicise This Show NOW!

See ya next week

ps .... Well done Gary!

A good rehearsal last night. My apologies to any of the cast (especially Rachel and the lovely ladies) that I may have upset. I know I am usually very quiet and reserved at rehearsals, but sometimes some things just need to be said, but I am only joking when I say them. Remember move en bloc and move faster so we in the last/back line can get round in time. Lots of love. Gary

Ive got a planning meeting for tomorrow for cubs (im a leader) and im going to propose doing a theatre trip for all the cubs on the friday night - dont suppose there would be any group discount - if all come along it would mean 17 more bums on seats (even more if i can persuade any parents....).
also thing might count towards a cub badge for my cubs...if it does, could a little pre show chat be arranged? i dont mind doing this, but would be great if other people could help!
Thanks, Ruth

I don't mind helping with a pre show chat Ruth, and in return they can wash my car, paint the house, take my cat for a walk, move the old lady standing outside my house to the other side of the road, sweep the dust on my driveway, and bake me a cake - all for 5 pence

Oh, and thank you Kevin for quoting the correct words. It's THE hard knock life! Simply read the words in the script; it makes more sense. I suppose it's the same lot who think it's "Sex IN the city".
