The Sun DID Come Out!

Well, it's all over & I think it went VERY well. Both Annies and both teams of orphans were marvelous we put on a very polished performance!
Highlights include:-
-Sandy, the dog
-Gary the Apple seller
-Michelle the stripper
-The Boylan Sisters, the latecomers
-Gary, the dancer
-The car
-The first Trombone for keeping his cool while the second trombone threw-up!
-Gary, the sound effects man
-The staff at the Churchill
-& EVERYBODY INVOLVED!
Thanks ..... I loved every minute of it ... & role on the Sequel (Un-navigated Waters for us all!)

A big congratulations must go to you too Kevin for directing us to yet another WWOS triumph.

Hi lights for us:

Your gentle, yet persuasive, requests to SHUT UP, SELL MORE TICKETS and LEARN YOUR WORDS!

Your ritual humiliation of Gary's size (pot/kettle) and accent.

Your despair at Jeremy (can he really be a Gauntlett?)

Your realisation that putting Jeremy at the front of the line for FBI was a BIG mistake.

Your surprise when Lee turns up for rehearsals.

Our surprise that you decided the French Maids costumes were too short for the dancers!!!!

Your insistance on understudying Annie when the girls weren't there.
'Together Forever' with Daddy Warbucks was worrying and the scenes with Grace....interesting!

Remembering children were present at rehearsals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND ALL THE FUN AND LAUGHTER WE'VE HAD DURING REHEARSALS AND THE WEEK OF THE SHOW. HERE'S TO MORE OF THE SAME FOR THE NEXT ONE....

Does that mean you're doing the next one then?
I'd like to rehearse with the adults next time if that's OK!
Yes all thanks to the whole production team. I know it'll all be said again tomorrow, but thanks from me anyway. Sorry I didn't fall ill, Kevin, maybe next time.
