good run inish

Good run - ish last night ... alot of work on words still needed, but well done for those of the cast who have made a huge effort at this stage with 4 weeks to go.
To echo one of the Comments to the last blog, the Orphans are going to be Fab, the dancing is looking marvelous and the singing sounding great.
Tickets are a big worry at the moment .... the Society alone are about 400 tickets down on the last show at this stage ..... please make an effort now to sell as many tickets as you can. We can offer, the group discounts, if needed to secure booking is. There are special school rates available, which we can offer for most performances. Please contact me or John to obtain further details.
Please note the selling points of the show.
Firstly, it is a new show, and we are presenting the London Premier.
Secondly, it is the sequel to one of the most famous musicals of all time-Annie.
Thirdly, as it is a family musical, and we are performing it in half term week, there are 3 matinee performances available on the Thursday Friday and Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Fourthly, the music is wonderful, there are some great new songs and dances in the show.
Finally, the kids are great and worth the price of the ticket alone.
Please try and sell as many tickets as possible.
The rehearsal of this Wednesday is back at the Methodist Church. See you there.

Nine, to see Howard so "purr-leesed"
Ten, to witness the slowest line delivery ever by Drake. "We know it's a funny line Paul, just deliver it!"
Eleven, to hear Kevin call Mr Warbucks 'Simon' when his characters name is Oliver but his real name is Simon, although Kev's playing a character called Simon. "Kev, get it right!"

I don't normally bother to read the blog comments. I won't bother again unless anyone has anything constructive to say.

Now, Now, Jeremy - don't lower yourself.
Is the blog supposed to be constuctive? Won't get me writing on it again then!

You are missing the point Jeremy. I'm not surprised!!! Misery

OOOOoooooh get you Jeremy. Had a sense of humour bypass? Since when was the blog ever constructive. It's just a laugh.

It's also public

Why do people with constructive comments make them anonymously. I talk rubbish but I do own up to it. By the way, some of the comments made are to try and encourage the public who view our blogg to buy tickets to see the things we are blogging about. Added interest so to speak. Publicity rocks....

I blog anonymously because it's more fun. The unknown. Who am I?
In the words of the director on his blog dated 28th February, and I quote, "Replies, comments, back-stabbings, gossip and ideas are all welcome!" Isn't that what blogs are meant for and isn't that just what we are all doing? Jeremy wants contructive comments....here's one for you Jeremy. Don't bother to read the blogs anymore. And Jacqui, keep plugging the show. All publicity is good publicity.

I'm guessing it's Elizabeth the anonymous! Unless Jacqui is still talking to herself. Gosh I can still be bothered when I'm this miserable. But then that is the attitude "The show must go on!" Have fun bloggers!

By the way it's my birthday today.

Happy Birthday 'ex alcoholic'. Although I guess if it's your birthday and you're feeling that miserable then you're probably not an 'ex' alcoholic anymore. Cheers!
Lots of love from the 'schizophrenic'
ps is that constructive enough for your Jeremy?

Perhaps another point is that adverse comments are not the most constructive way of enticing people to buy tickets or even join wwos. This is a public forum viewed by a lot of people, not just members, and id have to say if i was a prospective new member, the comments written on the blog would not entice me all that much...im all for publicity, but there are nicer ways of going about that...

Get a life! And a sense of humour!

I am a member of the public and i enjoy reading the comments. I think it is funny to hear the gossip and jokes made on this forum. I will be coming to see the show and i think that WWOS is brilliant. Blogs are meant for these sorts of comments and if people don't like it then you should scrap the blogging facility completly. I think there are some people that don't understand blogging and should get off their high horse.

Let's get back to what we are really good at....I'm bored with all the above rubbish....putting on great shows AND this show is gonna be great! Those noisy little orphans are brilliant. They are a joy to watch. Yesterday they were all so excited to see their Annie costumes again but, inconsiderately, some orphans have grown since Annie and poor Josie is dusting off her sewing machine to make afew alterations!! 'All Dolled Up' is looking good with all orphans and all the dancers tapping away. The two Annie's are word perfect...just like the adult principals...not! Now all we need is an audience.

Sell sell sell
