Got lots of bits done last night, with the company & the orphans …. Plus the highly complicated Station Scene, in which there are a few Duster Winning performances!
SO….. Publicity drive this Saturday in the Glades … (Please turn up at some point & support the girls!)….. Orphans rehearsal Sunday Morning, Run show Sunday afternoon, the Full rehearsals Monday, Wednesday & Friday next week …. No apologies so far!!!
The ticket situation is not good, but we have a bit of Publicity & paid ads going out next week, and we must all keep trying & keep our fingers crossed. IT IS A GOOD FUN SHOW ….

Now I see why you emailed me and told me to read the blog. I think I am very quiet when people are performing.
My only wish would be for the MD to exercise the same control over the pupils in my classroom as he attempts with the adults at rehearsal.
Could be quite an eye opener for him!
Following the 'Oliver' teams hard work in the Glades this morning I went to the churchill at lunchtime and asked how many tickets they had sold over the counter. The answer was 8. I hope this improved in the afternoon - the shopping centre was only just filling in the morning. If the numbers were similar it would be less hassle to sit at home and email/ring all your friends again next time. If for all that work we sell only a few more tickets then one has to ask the question 'Is there a better way?'

Yup, guess so (we're ver' pleased!).
they took in about 10 of the yellow tickets ..... so hopefully most of them were for 2 or more tickets!

Well done to all those who took part & helped.
One of the orders was for 6, so that's at least 18 bums on seats so getting more and more worthwhile. If only everyone in the society could sell 10 for Thursday night we'd be done.
